bears in trees are a dirtbag boyband from croydon, south london. they write songs about gay bars (fly out to alaska), starting fires (starting fires), pet snails (the sandbox one), getting better (it gets better), coming to terms with depression (good rhymes for bad times ), and loving your friends (reverberate) as well as other topics. their lyrics are mostly inspired by emo bands and their shared interests are mostly in indie and pop bands. however, they all have very different individual inspirations which makes it hard to narrow down their music/sound to one genre (hence “dirtbag boyband.”) they’re signed to counter intuitive records (which i think is v cool and i’m endlessly proud of them)!!if any of this sounds like something you’d vibe with, click the arrow!!
